ITS2020 – Best paper/Poster Awards

The ITS Conference recognizes research excellence by granting three awards (Best Full Paper, Best Short Paper, Best Poster) to accepted submissions each year.

On the basis of the scientific quality and the potential to achieve great impact in the Intelligent Tutoring Systems research field, the ITS2020 Conference Committee grants:

 

The Best Full Paper Award to:

Maria-Dorinela Dascalu, Mihai Dascalu, Stefan Ruseti, Mihai Carabas, Stefan Trausan-Matu and Danielle McNamara, for their excellent full paper “Cohesion Network Analysis: Predicting Course Grades and Generating Sociograms for a Romanian Moodle Course”

The prize for the Best Full Paper in ITS2020 is a complete wavering of the Author’s Fee, for one person out of this paper’s team of authors, in ITS2021.

 

 

The Best Short Paper Award to:

Damien Fleur, Wouter van den Bos and Bert Bredeweg, for their excellent short paper “Learning Analytics Dashboard for Motivation and Performance”

The prize for the Best Short Paper in ITS2020 is a 70% reduction of the Author’s Fee, for one person out of this paper’s team of authors, in ITS2021.

 

 

 

The Best Poster Award to:

Duy Bui, Jung Hee Kim and Michael Glass, for their excellent poster “Dialogue Act Pairs for Automated Analysis of Typed-Chat Group Problem-Solving”

The prize for the Best Poster in ITS2020 is a 50% reduction of the Author’s Fee, for one person out of this poster’s team of authors, in ITS2021.
