Instructions for Scientific Papers
The ITS2020 Conference invites submission in the form of Full papers, Short papers and Posters to be presented and discussed during the ITS2020 Conference.
Information on the Submission of Full papers, Short Papers and Posters to the ITS2020 Conference
All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following categories are welcome:
Full papers – ten (10) pages
Short papers – six (6) pages
Posters – four (4) pages
Only submissions in .pdf format will be accepted. All submissions should be in English.
Double Blind Evaluation during the ITS2020 Conference
In order to increase high quality papers and independent merit, the evaluation process of papers is double blind.
All papers submitted for review MUST not contain the authors’ names, affiliations, or any information that may disclose the authors’ identity (this information is to be restored in the camera-ready version upon acceptance).
Authors should replace names and affiliations with Xs on submitted papers. In particular, in the version submitted for review, they should avoid explicit auto-references, such as “in [1] we show” — consider “in [1] it is shown“; i.e. they may cite previous works, provided that they are not deducible from the text that the cited works belong to the authors. When citing their previous work, they should keep the names with Xs.
Paper Presentation during the ITS2020 Conference
Authors of Full papers and Short papers are responsible for preparing a ONLINE PRESENTATION (powerpoint or else) for the ITS2020 Conference, to demonstrate their topic and discuss it online with the conference participants during Q&A.
*Full papers should have a 30 minutes duration including Q&A!
*Short papers should have a 20 minutes duration including Q&A!
- Authors are required to send their presentation via email or shared link in Google Drive at info@iis-international.org.
- Paper presentations need to be sent until May 31, 2020.
All questions about submissions should be emailed to: info@iis-international.org
The ITS2020 Conference proceedings are published in the LNCS series of Springer
Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers.
In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
